El Valle Salado de Añana expone su candidatura a Patrimonio Mundial por la UNESCO en Japón
El IV Foro Internacional de Sistemas Ingeniosos de Patrimonio Agrícola Mundial (SIPAM), promovido por la Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Alimentación y la Agricultura (FAO) y que está considerado el foro más importante del mundo sobre paisajes agrícolas, incluye dentro de su programa una conferencia sobre el proyecto de recuperación de las salinas de Añana.
La cita será en Ishikawa (Japón) del 29 al 31 de mayo de 2013 y la conferencia, con título “Las salinas del Valle Salado de Añana, un paisaje agrícola de la sal con miles de años de historia” y previa a la sesión plenaria, será ofrecida por el Presidente de la Fundación y Diputado General de Álava, Javier de Andrés.
Se prevé una participación de cerca de 400 asistentes, entre los que también se encontrará el Director-Gerente de la Fundación Valle Salado de Añana, Roberto López de Eguílaz.
De este modo, la Fundación Valle Salado de Añana expone así su candidatura a Patrimonio Mundial por la UNESCO, lo que supone un reconocimiento internacional.
