El próximo domingo 7 de septiembre, XXIII Feria de Angosto
El próximo domingo 7 de septiembre se celebrará en las campas del santuario de Angosto, en Valdegovia, la XXIII edición de la feria de Angosto.
Durante toda la mañana este bucólico paraje alavés ofertará a los visitantes productos agroalimentarios locales y de las provincias vecinas, exposiciones de utensilios y herramientas tradicionales de los labradores y ganaderos, una degustación gratuita de ternera con patatas, elaborada por la asociación de sociedades gastronómicas de Alava, Boilur.
La charanga de Salinas amenizará las visitas a los diferentes puestos donde renovar fuerzas: de talo, de patatas alavesas rellenas, el propio bar del Santuario, o la txozna de la asociación sociocultural de Salinas de Añana; sin olvidar los más de 60 artesanos, por un lado los agroalimentarios, entre los que destacan los quesos Idiazábal, el vino de la Rioja Alavesa, pastel vasco, embutidos, miel, sidra y hortaliza fresca de temporada. Y por otro lado los artesanos de oficio: bisutería, cuero, cestería, cencerros, madera…
La feria de Angosto tiene su origen en la edad media, cuando empezó como feria ganadera. En los años 60, con la mecanización del campo de mediados del siglo pasado provocó que se dejase de celebrar. Hace ahora 23 años que la Asociación de Desarrollo Rural de Añana decidió recuperar esta cita con varios objetivos: acercar a la población urbana la realidad del mundo rural y de los que viven en él; dar la oportunidad a los productores agroalimentarios de vender directamente sus productos; fomentar el conocimiento de la comarca y de sus recursos naturales y turísticos; y ser un punto de encuentro para la población de los diferentes municipios de la comarca en un ambiente festivo y de colaboración.
La organización ya tiene preparados los diferentes aparcamientos para acoger sin problema a las más de 6.000 personas que acuden fielmente a esta cita, y que este año pueden ser más debido a la excelente climatología que se espera para el domingo.
