XIV. Muestra Internacional de Títeres
A lo largo de XIII ediciones, TXOTXONGILOAK ARABAN Nazioarteko Erakusketa- Muestra Internacional de TITERES ha convertido Araba en el territorio de los Títeres y teatro de Objetos para todos los públicos.
Desde 2004 se ha venido desarrollando esta Muestra Internacional estival siendo 130.000 espectadores los que han presenciado y aplaudido en sus funciones. Cada edición compañías titiriteras del estado así como internacionales recorren localidades de cada Cuadrilla de Araba dignificando la marioneta en sus múltiples técnicas y manifestaciones contemporáneas.
XIV TXOTXONGILOAK ARABAN presenta esta edición un total de 10 compañías reconocidas y premiadas en Ferias y Festivales de prestigio Internacional procedentes de Madrid, Castilla y León, Andalucía, Navarra y Euskadi. Ofrecerán diversos espectáculos en los que la marioneta se aleja de sus códigos tradicionales para mezclarse con el resto de artes escénicas contemporáneas, de manera que se podrá hablar de la marioneta con mayúsculas con espectáculos en los que se combinará con la música en directo , el teatro gestual, el circo o las artes plásticas.
La importancia cultural de esta Muestra además de su calidad artística apoya la promoción de las Artes Escénicas en Araba e inunda el territorio de múltiples universos e historias con sus personajes los títeres plenos de emociones y con sentimientos como las de cualquier ser humano.
